Our quality policy puts the product quality and the customer satisfaction first. This includes not only high quality, but also in time delivery and consultancy service.
Quality in fabrics and other technical textiles
Quality in big bags begins with the inhouse fabric production. We use
- only virgin raw materials,
- always UV protection additives,
- and a low share of calciumcarbonat additives to produce high quality tapes.
We make fabric on state of the art machines which will guarantee a constant and perfect fabric quality. Ultrasonic and hot cutting of the fabric ensures that no loose threads will contaminate the finished big bags.
We use various test equipment in our in-house laboratory to ensure tape and fabric quality. This includes testing for
- weight and dimensions of tapes and of fabrics
- tensile strength of tapes and fabrics
- UV and weather resistance of fabrics
- electrostatic breakthrough voltage of fabrics
Quality in big bag manufacturing
In the main step, big bags are sewn from fabric, loops and other technical textiles. Our experienced and motivated employees are the most important factor for achieving a low failure rate in sewing. Quality in big bag industry means that the agreed technical specification is repeated several thousand times which is challenging for textiles but achievable. Countless measures have been undertaken which add to the quality (e.g. product traceability, hair nets, steel fence on ground so FIBC do not touch ground, hot cutting, training for employees).
To insure constant quality, DIV Trades has a strict visual quality control of every single FIBC. The quality control ensures that each FIBC has all features and the correct dimensions. Furthermore, the quality control checks for visible damages or any other irregularity. Additionally, big bags are tested on testing rigs on a regular basis. External test houses certify the big bags for food safety and SWL.
Quality Management
DIV Trades ensures through an integrated quality management policy highest quality standards in all business aspects with the goal to satisfy existing and future customers. Our integrated quality management system is certified by CERTOP CO d.o.o. Kanjiža and consists of:

- OHSAS 18001:2007 - Occupational Health and Safety Management System
Delivery time
Usually we can supply a full truck of individual big bags within three to four weeks anywhere in Europe. This is possible due to a large stock of unfinished products and flexible production planning in the sewing department. Additionally, the travel distance from our factory to most of our customers is not far.

Recycling
Big Bags are made from Polypropylene which is fully recyclable. Additionally, the carbon footprint of big bags in general is very good as the transportation of empty big bags requires only minimum space and big bags have a low weight of only a few kg which means that only a small amount of raw materials is needed compared to the filling weight.
